Heh, just completed by crappy history essay. (: At least I'm over it. And it's 2.13AM now, but i'm no less energetic than i was in the day-- must be the caffeine overdose! Rendezvous with Kahwerniah at T2 Starbucks today, from morning till early evening. Rather productive day actually, considering the slacker i was the past few days, hee. Saw several TJCians there, haha, we're all cheapskate students trying to take the opportunity to camp at a high-classed area to STUDYYY. Stayed there for a shocking 5-plus hours ayee! Had lunch at Killiney's at 4.30PM and a warning to remember: Laksa + Teh-bing is an ultimate no-no. :S My stomach's having those unusual weird pangs again; something's churning inside, the wrong way. Skipped dinner, but i guess that's a good thing, haha. At least my diet sorta worked today, since it hasn't ever did, so no worries. Other than my not-so-healthy chocolate cake breakfast, potentially fattening Caramel Frappe Grande (KW's treat! xD), and totally unhealthy laksa lunch, my diet plan's pretty much perfect. :D Anyway, it was a fun rendezvous, and thanks for your treat aye, 'BFF'!
SOME MAJOR UPDATES:
COLLEGE BOWL, 5th Sept '09
College Bowl was unexpectedly kinda fun! It was horribly gruelling at the start, for a 16-pointer bowler like me. I never felt like such a burden to everyone in possibly my entire life before alright. That feeling was terrible. I started out missing every single pin, and all my shots headed into the gutter. It was a super super embarrassing moment. Especially for the Random Prize part, I almost fainted when I rushed out to collect my prize for 'first bowler who throws a gutter ball after this announcement'. I can't believe I actually went forward, or rather, RAN forward. OMG the horrors. I bet the ball hates me, esp the 8-pounds one. No matter how much I tilt my wrist towards the right, the ball just rolls to the left and occasionally to extreme right, and always into the gutter, UGHHH. Felt really sorry that I was pulling the team down, but i couldn't help it. But subsequently, things got better when we reached the third round. I started to get strikes and spares (which is why I must emphasize that bowling is a weird sport), and achieved a 90 at the end of it! IT IS A MIRACLE OHKAY. I have left a legacy for my next few generations to be proud of. :D AND I HAVE EVIDENCE![look below!] Haiquan was really really good alright, he had strikes and spares all the way for the third game, until the last throw, but it's like exceptional still! Shelly was rather consistent all the way, and his baby throw was damn funny! Hairy was surprisingly not bad!, must be Kw's aura or sth at the bowling alley haha.
Overall score was 458 in total, but I know it could've been better if not for me. OH WELL.
LANGUAGE ARTS NIGHT, 3rd Sept '09
It was so so so so awesome! The plays have improved so much from what i had watched during rehearsals and I'm so glad everyone was brave enough to tolerate all the pains they're suffering from whatever sickness or illness they had caught and overcome their stagefright fears on stage! Really really proud of the TA2 cohort. I honestly felt a sense of unity and belonging to TA2 at that moment. (: Really glad this night happened. Tze Hern's video was seriously breathtakingly amazing. I am completely speechless by the visual and technical editing that the group incorporated in the making of their video. I am STUNNED. :D Our group's documentary video was, as usual, annoying with my disgusting voice played over and over again throughout and my classic "YO! Life is short." broadcasted to the whole auditorium. I am humiliated for the rest of my high-status life., hope my husbands don't see it. But overall, LA Nite was a splendid and wonderful night and I would never regret putting heaps of effort and time into it. ;DDD
OHKAY, I think this is a rather long post already haha. Shall find more time if i can to update more recent events that did not happen centuries ago soon, heh.
