OMG today was such a _______ day! Totally undescribable. (Pauses-, needs to take a deeeeep breath) I had never, ever expected anything like today to happen but it did and I am just so so thankful and overjoyed. Today started out like just another typical day of the week, just going to school, going through papers, fooling around and being super SIANNED out. I tried to cheer myself happy this morning, but the enthusiasm in me just died down and the fact that it was my birthday almost completely faded throughout some moments of the day. I was numb to probably everything surrounding me and feeling somewhat annoyed and impatient the whole day. This feeling's been bugging me for days, ever since the week started off horribly, and it just gets worse. Each time I feel like I have experienced the worst, something worse creeps up to me and puts me down over and over again. Having a conflict days before one's birthday is definitely not ideal, and receiving exam scores that disappoint you repeatedly continues to stress the crap out of you, continued by a series of other irritating events like TWO LARGE PIMPLES on your face, ONE LARGE ULCER in your mouth, COUGH & SORE THROAT, assignments like STP & chinese stuffs that you have to do for your own good, is certainly not a good way to welcome a birhday. At those moment, I honestly felt that this birthday was not going to be a joyful one.

But, today proved to be a total surprise. After a total sianned-out morning after bio lecture/postmortem, LEP-ians camped at LEP room. Was trying to do my bzbd but ended up playing CrazyTaxi on PSP and Youtube-ing SS501 (Love Like This is frickin AMAZINGGG). Then went to chayuan(TeaChapter) on a squeezy-squishy bus. We reached there with many many other J1s and also TA1s and cramped up the 2nd/3rd level. Watched some funny random video about Mid-Autumn Fest then proceeded with the making of the denglong and pao-ing of the tea. THEN SUDDENLY, Yingling & Jiaxin wanted to go toilet, so I tagged along cus I needed relief too. Then after we returned to our table and seats and contined with our thingies, i accidentally spilled my tea while I was attempting to 饮 my 茶 and was gasping for tissue when SUDDENLY, the lights blacked out and I turned around and saw Glen carrying a birthday cake walking from the stairs area, and everyone started singing the birthday song. OH MY GAWSH, that was the point when it finally dawned on me that this was a planned surprise birthday party. I was really shocked and pleasantly surprised. I really didn't know they had prepared for this mann. SPEECHLESS. After which, we shared the cake which was so deliciously chocolatey and smudgey (<3!),>

But anyway, because I really have to say this, TO ALL TA2 LEP-IANS: I'm really really extremely deeply touched by what you guys have done for me today! I really did not expect it, and it was a tremendous booster of my spirits for the day. Thanks a million for all this, I really felt so much better and happier after your surprise, especially since this week has been such a rough one for me. THANK YOU A LOT A LOT :D I am sincerely glad and honoured to have such great and awesome friends like yall & I can never wish for more, really. <3>

HAHAH, but today was pretty amusing too, fact is that I sorta suspected about this thing beforehand, but just didn't know it would be the cake thingy!

LOOPHOLES EXPOSED!:

1. Yingling: The first point when I felt sth was fishy was during morning assembly when you stood SOOOO far back at the end of your class when you usually don't, haha! & there were those occasional whisperings and murmurings and weird glances and stares that you guys made during assembly and chinese at GoodNews.

2. Meeting @ MTLHOD room: Gls and her “盈玲，我等一下不会帮你做那件事了”， Yingling and her clueless look, and Kaiwen and her "Omg Yingling your mind is really slow" was just weird, haha.

3. Searching for valuables left in bus (???): That one was just really really weird. Gls asking me to check for any left belongings in the bus was just random and weird! :S

4. Yingling & Jiaxin: You two ah, sneakily suddenly rush off to toilet in the middle of nowhere! Then graciously allowing me to first go into the toilet, and after which beloved Yingling blocking me at the entrance of the toilet. That was DAMNNN obvious laa haha.

But most of the things they did behind my back successfully really impressed me, or rather, made me feel dumb too.

SUCCESS:

1. Huanying & her "Aye Valencia, what kind of birthday cake do you like most" totally did not arouse my suspicion. I seriously thought it was a random question and did not read much into it.

2. Yingling & her "cannot-go-buke-cus-I-gotta-go-back-to-RV-to-collect-my-CHINESE-results" stance totally did not make me suspicious at all! In the end she went to buy my cake. -.- WOW. Impressed.

3. Kaiwen & Jianle and their "going to check results for Mazarin" stance also didn't catch my attention cus I did not even notice it at all!

4. Jiaxin & her exposing of the cake secret in LEP room or sth wasn't heard by me cus I had my earpiece on. But that was damn spastic anyway, lol! It's just like Yingling and that Kelly in Taiwan thing.

5. Kaiwen & Yingling with their "purposely-standing-at-another-bus-far-far-away-from-our-bus-to-chayuan-cus-they-need-to-wait-for-J1s" stance was totally ignored by me cus I completely concluded that they were being their usual weird selves, HHA.

6. Some people purposely walking damn far away from me today and avoiding me by purposely walking the long route to hide my cake. I must have been blind cus I honestly did not see the huge box of cake AT ALL.

This proves you guys are quite a successful surprise party planner aye! Muahaa (:

All in all, I really wanna thank everyone who made 30th October '09 such a special, memorable and unforgettable day! To everyone who wished me, pranked me, fooled me-- THANKS HEAPS AND LOADS!
